We just wanted to inform you that we have brought home Dixon from the Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem MA. We were determined to get a puppy and he just melted our hearts!
We have renamed him Chip, short for Chipwich , the name of a local ice cream parlor's ice cream sandwich. He is just as yummy too! We are all very excited. Thanks for rescuing him so that we could own him!

Take care,

Rena, Lana, (owners) Noah, and Haley.

Bomber came to the shelter unwanted and partially blind. He has such a great personality we couldn't stand to see him kept in a kennel. So he went to a
foster home and then with the help of Pilots-N-Paws, Bomber was able to go to a  New Spirit 4 Aussie Rescue and now has been adopted by a couple in New Jersey.

Willow had been at the Conroe shelter for a very long time. She was overlooked because of her age. Willow is just a great dog and Linda the volunteer fell in love with her. After a lot of hard work,Linda found a home for Willow in Georgia. So off Willow went and as you can see by her pictures, she couldn't be happier.
Here is what her new owner says:
Willow seems to be getting more comfortable. She used to keep a little distance from the other dogs when we sit around in the evening, but now she curls up at my feet under my desk when I sit at the computer.  She is very, very sweet.

This big yellow lab(we called Forest) was at an off site adoption event when along came this family.  They called out to him..Georgie. Forest started wagging his tail and going crazy. It seems that he got lost and his family had been looking for him.  Now they are re-united. This is a great Happy Tail!! Thanks to Linda for just having that feeling to bring Forest out to the adoption event. She was his guardian angel!
